Brittny Tesner has completed her Bachelor of Arts in dance at Western Michigan University in June of 2014. She is from Bay City, Michigan and plans to dance professionally and choreograph. While at Western Michigan she has performed works by Eddy Ocampo, Lauren Edson, Nelly vanBommel, KT Nelson, Gabrielle Lamb, and Peter Chu. While working with Nelly vanBommel, she had the opportunity to work with Dance Works Chicago in rehearsals, as well as stage a piece. Brittny has performed in Washington DC, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where she performed Lauren Edson’s work for the National College Dance Festival. In addition she has competed in Las Vegas with the top 120 in So You Think You Can Dance? Season 10 and was selected from Western Michigan for a Student Global Initiative to China and Taiwan where she performed, taught master classes and learned Chinese dance. Miss Brittny is currently training in aerial arts, and is working towards being certified so she can perform and teach aerial arts.
